Responding to his post, Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo said: "Absolutely, friend. You're the best." While former Barianne Al Nasr's Inigo Martínez praised Yamal's talent, saying, "There are some talents that do not need awards."

Yamal won the La Liga title with Barcelona this year and also participated in the World Cup with the Spain national team. He scored 25 goals and 20 assists in 55 matches in the 2025–26 season.
