
WK record of Scottish fans, who created a stir in Boston
Scotland beat Haiti 0-1 in their first World Cup match, with fans setting a record of 125 decibels.
Scotland played against Haiti in their first World Cup match between Saturday night and Sunday morning. Even though the score was a bit low, the importance of victory is the most. The Scottish fans created a huge celebration in Boston, as they always do.
The celebrations began even before the match, when Scottish fans walked through the streets of Boston wearing kilts. During the match, over 20,000 Scottish fans sang their national anthem 'Flower of Scotland' loudly, setting a record of 125 decibels. This is the highest sound level in World Cup history.

Scotland won 0–1 over Haiti, moving them into first place in Group C. The other two teams in this group, Brazil and Morocco, played out draws against each other. During the celebration, Scottish fans everywhere in Boston played doodle bags and sang songs.
Scottish fans have a fun custom of placing a traffic cone on the head of the statue wherever it goes. This tradition started in Glasgow and has now spread to America also.
This victory of the Scottish team has placed them firmly in Group C.
