Redding FC full-back Hayden Roberts has said that the "Royals" are confident of maintaining their good start this season and challenging for promotion, provided they can also carry over their impressive home performances on the road. A 2–0 home win against Notts County on Saturday was their third consecutive home league win, leaving them eighth in League One, just one point off the top six. "I'm feeling pretty good in terms of my pre-injury," he said. "Maybe physically I'm still not at my best. But I'm willing to give anything for this manager [Liam Richardson] and this squad. I'm very grateful, he's given me this opportunity I've been waiting for for a long time. To be available, I'll give all my hard work for him.
