Schicks, who is a product of PSV's youth academy, has played mainly for Jong PSV over the past few years. He has 85 matches to his name. He made his debut for the first team this season, replacing Matveev Kovar and Nik Olij, due to injuries.

In the coming season, PSV is offering him a chance to play at Valvik. PSV are following the same path with Schicks as they did with Jesper Unken. This means that first his contract will be extended and then he will be sent on loan to RKC. Last season, Mark Speklink was RKC's first goalkeeper. They kept Yannick Van Osch on the bench.
Unken will return to Eindhoven again this summer. He scored 16 goals and 6 assists in 39 matches.
