England defeated Sporting KC 5-1 in a private warm-up match on Thursday. In this match, reserve striker Ivan Tony performed brilliantly and scored a hat-trick. This practice match was organized to keep fit players who could not play a major role in the 4β2 win against Croatia. Apart from Ivan Toney, Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins also scored goals. England coach Thomas Tuchel, captain Harry Kane and defenders Dan Byrne and Jade Spence also participated in the match. Additionally, Tuchel also participated in the Kansas City Royals baseball club, where he threw the first pitch. The England team will play against Ghana in the World Cup next Tuesday, while they will play the final match of the group stage against Panama on June 27.
