Millwall eyes KV Mechelen's talented midfielder
Millwall are attempting to sign KV Mechelen's Mathis Servais, who has impressed in the Belgian top league.
Millwall Football Club are in talks to sign KV Mechelen midfielder Mathis Servais. 21-year-old Servais joined KV Mechelen from SK Beveren last summer and has impressed in his debut season. He has made an impressive debut in the Belgian top league, making it natural that a club such as Millwall is interested in his signing.
Servais spent four seasons with SK Beveren, where he had excellent performances in the 2024/2025 season. He scored eight goals and eight assists in 33 games, leading to KV Mechelen signing him after they lost captain Rob Shoofs to Union St Gilois. Servais played in 34 matches for KV Mechelen, scoring two goals and providing four assists. His versatility is one of his key attributes, and Millwall could get a player who can play both centrally and out wide, whether in a forward position or in a general midfield position.
