Bay FC and Italy national team striker Cristiano Girelli talked about her experience in the United States, but most importantly, she also spoke about her strong bond with Juventus Women. She explained that moving to California was one of the most difficult decisions of her career: "I thought about it and I think about it often. My mother said: 'It's a train that is just passing by and will never come again'. I said to myself 'Go!'. Probably the first time I really thought for myself. Certainly, it was a very difficult decision."

Girelli said that despite this new experience, his love for Juventus has not diminished at all: "Juventus will always remain my first and greatest love. I can't imagine any other ending with that jersey." She recalled her last night at the Allianz Stadium, when she was loved by the Juventus fans: "Walking onto that field I heard a lot of 'thank you' and 'we'll miss you'. It was a very strong moment for me. Only I know how much place Juventus holds in my heart."

Girelli also penned an emotional message for Stefano Braghin, who played a key role in the creation and success of Juventus Women. Girelli said he was saddened to hear the news of his departure: "I felt an emptiness, with tears. She created Juventus Women. We must always thank her for the work she created."

Girelli also recounted his personal experience of joining Juventus, when he was not in the club's plans: "He came personally to pick me up in the car from Brescia. And he told me to turn into a striker: 'You are a striker, you are a 9.' It's because of him that I've had this kind of career."

In the interview Girelli also shared her experiences on the National Women's Soccer League, calling it "the most competitive league in the world", praising the enthusiasm of American fans and the atmosphere around sporting events. It's an experience that is enriching, but also reminds him of his roots and the club that most influenced his career.
