Reijnders, who is on loan at Manchester City from Milan, said Guardiola told him he no longer had the energy to frustrate players when they were not selected to play. He said, "It's a difficult decision, but I understand."

Guardiola has achieved many things in his career, but now he feels it is time to end it. Reijnders said, "He is a very talented coach and it was a privilege to work with him."
