FC Sevilla will be the first real test of Bayer 04
Bayer 04 Leverkusen faces its first big test against FC Sevilla in preparation for the upcoming summer. The Spanish club will come to Leverkusen on August 8 for the season opening match. Before this, Bayer 04 will attend a training camp, where fans will only be allowed to watch training for one day.
FC Sevilla will be the first big test for Bayer 04 and the new coach in preparation for the upcoming summer. The Spanish club will come to Leverkusen for the season opener against double-champions Bayer 04 on August 8. This match will start at 15:30.
The game will take place immediately after the training camp in Blankenhain, Thuringia, where Bayer 04 will prepare for the upcoming season from 1 to 7 August.
Fans will get a chance to connect with the club for just one day at Bayer 04's training camp. Fans will only be allowed to watch training on 3 August, much to the disappointment of many Bayer-04 supporters.
Last year, in 2024, more than 800 fans attended the training camp of Bayer 04, but the same enthusiasm is not expected this time.
Before the training camp for Bayer 04, three more test matches are also scheduled. The first match will be against Sportfreunde Baumberg on 18 July. This will be followed by matches against Kickers Offenbach and Carl-Zeiss Jena.
