Colombia defeated Portugal and secured first place in the group, DR Congo also happy
Colombia secured a group win against Portugal, while DR Congo recorded a tough win over Uzbekistan.
Colombia and Portugal battled for wins in the group on Saturday. Colombia had won the first two matches, while Portugal faced DR Congo in the first match. In this match too, Portugal had to face a lot of difficulty against Colombia. Colombia created several good chances in the first quarter, but Portugal goalkeeper Diego Costa did well to keep his team in check. No goals were scored in the first half.
