De Bruyne happy with Conte's departure from Naples: 'I didn't enjoy the game'
Kevin De Bruyne expressed his delight at Antonio Conte leaving Napoli and expressed dissatisfaction with his playing style.
Kevin De Bruyne has expressed happiness over Antonio Conte's resignation as coach of Napoli. The two spent a season together at the foot of Vesuvius and De Bruyne is happy that experience has now come to an end. 'Conte's vision was different from mine,' he said.
De Bruyne said that he had a difficult season and never got the chance to play properly in his position. 'We played defensively all season, in a 5-4-1 formation,' he said. When you score only once in every match, that's a problem.

De Bruyne also said that he did not enjoy football under Conte. 'For me football has to be fun, and I didn't get that under Conte,' he said.
He further said that if the new coach does not change the way the game is played, he will consider leaving Napoli. Napoli are planning to bring in Massimiliano Allegri as their new coach, who is in line with De Bruyne's expectations of playing attacking football.
