Arezzo's team is improving in defense and halftime: the names of Mena Martinez and Schiavi come to the fore
Arezzo is in talks with players like Marlon Mena Martinez and Nicolas Schiavi to improve their squad.
The Arezzo side are looking to strengthen their squad for the upcoming Serie B. Under the guidance of coach Christian Bucchi, the club has accelerated the process of signing young defender Marlon Mena Martinez. Mena, who is from the Dominican Republic, made 35 appearances for Parma Primavera last season, scoring two goals. He will compete for the role of main defender with Alessandro Renzi.
Additionally, Arezzo have considered bringing in experienced defender Julian Illanes from Carrarese. Illanes, who has played 62 matches in Serie B, can strengthen the team with his playing experience. Also, there remains a possibility for Federico Ceccherini, who is now without a club and has played 103 matches in Serie B. Arezzo's management team is hopeful of completing the transfer quickly.
In the interim, the club has also focused on Nicolas Schiavi, who has scored 11 goals in 68 matches in Serie B. Both clubs are negotiating a financial agreement for this transfer.
Finally, Arezzo also plans to bring in youngster Kevin Leone. Leone, who is from Sassuolo, scored two goals in 32 appearances in Serie C last season and will now get the chance to play at a higher level as he seeks promotion.
