Liverpool coach Andreoni Iraola has confirmed that Lewis Koumas will replace Alexander Isak in Liverpool's upcoming match. This match is against Manchester City and is considered to be the most important match of the season. Iraola's team has started this season well, but they have not yet defeated any team badly. Liverpool fans are a little excited, but it is clear that something is missing from the team.

Playing against a strong Manchester City will be a big test, especially after a three-week international break. City also face 114 charges as of this match, which could also affect Liverpool if City's appeal is unsuccessful. The importance of this match is more than just a game — it is a chance for Liverpool to come back.

However, Iraola will have to field without its two top scorers in this match. Cody Gakpo is out for several weeks with injury. At the same time, Alexander Isaac is also not available for this game. The problem for Iraola is that he no longer has any striker options, as Hugo Aktich is also injured.

However, Iraola has some exciting attackers who can play in a central role. Victor Munoz was signed for this reason. Bradley Barcola has also played there before. Federico Chiesa could also be an option as he is fit now. The loss of Isak will be huge, but Liverpool have a plan to solve it. Iraola also confirmed in his press conference that he only has one number 9.

"We only have Koumas, we have some options; wingers who have played forward," Iraola said. "We don't have a lot of time to train with the group. It's the same for every team, so we can't get used to it. I've got time to analyze the games, but we have to adapt to the injuries."

Koumas's play is important in this context as he is able to press forward, and according to Iraola's reply, he has almost confirmed that the wonderful youngster from Liverpool will be the replacement for Isak.

What will happen next

Liverpool will now have to take the field against Manchester City with Lewis Koumas and other options. Iraola will have to develop a new strategy for his team, especially as they are without striker options. The result of this match could decide the direction of Liverpool's season, and they will get a chance to strengthen their position.
