
Spain beats Saudi Arabia 4-0, second match of 2026 World Cup
Spain defeated Saudi Arabia 4–0 to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, with Lamin Yamal scoring his debut goal and Mikel Oyarsabal scoring twice.
The match was played between Spain and Saudi Arabia in the second round of the 2026 World Cup, in which Spain won 4-0. This match was played at 'Mercedes-Benz Stadium' located in Atlanta, America. The chief referee of this match was Rafael Claus of Brazil.
Lamin Yamal scored the first goal in Spain's victory in the 10th minute, which was his first goal in the World Cup. After this, Spain forward Mikel Oyarsabal scored the second goal in the 21st minute. Three minutes later, Oyarsabal also scored his second goal. Saudi Arabia defender Hassan Al-Tambakti scored an own goal in the 49th minute to make Spain's score 4–0.

With this win, Spain collected four points and came first in Group H. On the other hand, Saudi Arabia is in fourth place with one point. The Spain team will now face Uruguay in its next match on June 27, while Saudi Arabia will face Cabo Verde on the same day.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is being held in the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19. The winner of the previous World Cup was Argentina, which defeated France in the final.
