Adi Hütter discussed his decision to leave Eintracht Frankfurt in 2021, admitting his mistakes and explaining how the departure of teammates led to his decision.
In a recent interview, Adi Hütter revealed that he is returning back to Eintracht Frankfurt. He discussed the events leading up to his departure from the club in 2021. He admitted that his statement in February 2021 that he would stay at the club was a mistake. "I wanted to make it clear that my full focus was on this season, in which we had a great possibility of reaching the Champions League," Huerter said.
He explained how difficult the decision to leave the club was for him, especially when he saw that important members of the club such as the sporting director and other key people were leaving the club. Hütter also explained that he understood his fans' disappointment, after signing a contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach, and realized that some of his statements came out wrong.

"When I signed in Mönchengladbach, I said it would only change colours, which was a big mistake." Hütter said that after his decision, he was hopeful that he would be successful in leading his team to a Champions League spot.
He told that he has positive feelings towards his fans and wants to maintain good relations with them. Hütter also discussed his future plans, which include coaching in the Premier League or becoming coach of the Austrian national team.
